@leiminspace is proud to present the work of the artists at Inside Out Productions, the art studio at LA Goal Organization. LA Goal is a non-profit organization which offers adults with developmental disabilities the skills and empowerment to live a full and more independent life. Their art program, Inside Out Production, provides members with the unique opportunity to get paid to produce and show work. Artists at Inside Out Productions have access to facilities for weaving, printmaking, painting, ceramics, and mixed media.  “We're all the work of art. We are all a work of Art” exhibits selected groups of work from in-program projects. 

 

    While the members at Inside Out Productions participate in projects guided by their instructors, they also provide a wealth of independent work. There is a unique fervor in the artist studio at LA Goal, a mixture of happiness to be there and passion to create art. When asked if the members ever go through periods of being uninspired or having “artist-blocks”, the instructors will assure you they never do. While the program exists to help and empower its members, it becomes clear, upon seeing their work, that they have a lot to share with the rest of the world about art and the process of making.
